Christians and Muslims Quest for Peace


(Nairobi, 16.04.2010) PROCMURA has launched a report on conflict prevention and peace building in West Africa under the title “Christians and Muslims Quest for Peace”. It recovers the documentation of an international conference held in Accra, Ghana in July 2009.

In the focus are inter-religious peace initiatives. The booklet points out, that religion is an emotive issue that touches the heart and soul of human being and religious extremism is on the ascendancy. It encourages religious leaders to be an asset to peace in the continent, as Africa is religious continent. PROCMURA is a Pan-African Organisation based in Nairobi, Kenya and stands for Programme for Christian-Muslim Relations in Africa.
