As the EU continues to subsidize the export of agricultural products, for example, more and more poultry farmers in West Africa continue to lose their livelihoods.

Many of China’s workers suffer work-related accidents and injuries because their workplaces – factories outfitted to produce goods for the global market as cheaply as possible – fail to provide sufficient occupational safety programs.

The peoples of Peru continue to receive less than their fair share of the profits won from the continued exploitation of the country’s coveted mineral resources*.
