Innovative and versatile, they secure sustainable harvests, develop their own markets and contribute to the conservation of the environment.

Taking Responsibility

EED encourages people to stand up for justice and peace in this One World: in parishes, schools, partnership projects, political initiatives, trade unions and parliaments.

Dialogue on development issues
EED engages actively with the churches and with political, economic and social institutions by way of its purpose-directed public relations initiatives and involvement in campaigns.

Support of initiatives within Germany
EED supports the educational work of initiatives and churches on development issues by providing grants for:

  • seminars and conferences;
  • development-oriented travel for educational purposes;
  • specific undertakings, campaigns and annual programmes;
  • films, slide series and print media;
  • research on development issues;
  • personnel support.

Film
EED supports the production and distribution of films on North-South issues. They are available for schools, groups and parishes in Germany.
