… male and female, He created them

EED supports small-scale development projects, which are being developed by church-based partnership groups and their partners in the South, in South Eastern Europe and the Caucasus. Such projects may be:

  • the joint implementation of work camps
  • civil society activities
  • human rights campaigns
  • further education and training
  • health and social projects
  • awareness raising measures
  • purchase of teaching materials
  • small-scale infrastructural measures
  • income-generating programmes
  • micro-credit schemes
  • rural development
  • organic agriculture combined with fair trade

These projects need to be structured in a way that their objectives can be fulfilled within two years or less.

Support can only be granted on the condition that the project objective accords with the aims of the Church Development Service.

You might download the information and criteria as well as the application and balance forms to strengthen and intensify the dialogue between your partnership group and the partnership group in the North.

Please note that the application form must be directed to EED by your German partners.
